Anthem is a health insurance company in the United States that is been around since the 1940s. The Anthem name has only been in place since 2014. Before that, the name was Wellpoint Incorporated. They are part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and are the largest managed healthcare company in that association. They are publicly traded company they can be found on the New York Stock Exchange with headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.
