Target Corporation is the second largest department store in the United States after Walmart. Their headquarters are located in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and as of 2018 the company was a part of the S&P 500 index. Target operates 1822 stores throughout the United States. They have several different retail formats including SuperTarget, City Target, and Target Express, as well as the regular discount store, Target. As of February, 2018, Target employed 345,000 people. The majority of these people worked in the approximately 1800 retail stores located throughout the United States. Employment opportunities include cashier, restocking, customer service, management, and more. Target also has a number of positions in their corporate office as well.
